Advantages
1. Low processing cost: The cost of hot-dip galvanizing rust protection is lower than that of other paint coatings;
2. The hot dipped galvanized angle steel has surface gloss, uniform zinc layer, no leakage plating, no dripping, strong adhesion, and strong corrosion resistance. In the suburban environment, the standard anti-rust thickness of hot-dip galvanizing can be maintained for more than 50 years without having to Repair; in urban areas or offshore areas, the standard hot-dip galvanized antirust layer can be maintained for 20 years without repair
3. The galvanized layer and the steel are metallurgically combined and become a part of the steel surface;
4. The galvanized layer forms a metallurgical structure that can withstand mechanical damage during transportation and use;
5. The galvanization can be conducted on each part of the plating piece to protect the depression, sharp corner and covert;
6. Time-saving and labor-saving: The galvanization process is faster than other coating construction methods and can save the time needed for brushing in the site after the installation.
Common angle steel
The surface quality of angle steel is specified in the standard which is generally required to be free from harmful defects in use (such as delaminate defects , rolling skin and crack)
The allowable range of angle steel geometric deviation is also specified in the standard, generally including bending, leg width, leg thickness, apex angle and theoretical weight.
The angle steel belongs to carbon structural steel for construction, it is a profiles steel with simple cross section which is mainly used for metal construction and factory framework. It's required to be of good weldability, plastically deformation behavior and a certain mechanical strength in the use. The raw material for producing the angle steel is the low carbon square billet and the finished angle steels are delivered under the state of hot rolling forming, normalizing or hot rolling.
